This B4 SUNRISE side project grew out of many sessions that Wolle Bechluft and Michael Brückner did between 2000 and 2004.

Initially, it was a (only private) birthday present Michael had created, using various fragments and unfinished song sketches to "remix" them into the tracks on this albums, often heavily editing, warping and transforming the original material in the process. The idea was to surprise Wolfgang (who, at that point, had not recorded any albums under his own name) with a "solo" album which he himself didn't know to have recorded...

The result turned out to be attractive enough to earn the duo an invitation to open a local festival (the Binger Open Air) in that year, but since the music on the album never had been played or rehearsed live so far - and the organizers were less impressed with the "official" B4 SUNRISE albums, which the band offered to perform instead - it didn't happen.

B4 SUNRISE still is the last incarnation of a longer line of bands and projects originating from the area of Alzey (near the city of Mainz, near Frankfurt). The constellation Reinhold Krämer (keyboards, vocals), Wolfgang Bechtluft (guitars, vocals) and Michael Brückner (electronics, production) exists since about the year 2000.
